Fox News Hosts Whine That Don Lemon Asked Elon Musk Tough Questions: ‘The Guy’s A Genius!’

Fox News hosts on Outnumbered attacked Don Lemon for asking billionaire Elon Musk tough questions during their interview, which apparently led the billionaire to call off his deal with the former CNN host.

Earlier this week, Lemon announced that Musk had ended his deal with X following a lengthy interview between Lemon and Musk set to air on Monday. Musk coaxed Lemon to X, which he is trying to turn into a video platform featuring former cable news stars like Tucker Carlson.

In response, Musk put forward the dubious explanation that he nixed Lemon’s deal with X because he wasn’t interviewed by “the real” Don Lemon.

On Fox News, Lemon pressing Musk, a powerful and controversial figure, was reason for derision. When Outnumbered co-host Emily Compagno read out Musk’s excuse for canceling Lemon’s show during a segment on Friday, she exclaimed: “Drop the mic!”

Cheryl Casone then slammed Lemon for daring to challenge one of the richest individuals in the world, asking: “He just gave you a deal and you’re going to attack him on his own platform?”

“Elon Musk is worth almost $200 billion. And that’s the interview you do with him. I mean, the guy’s a genius in business. And I said that I watched the whole interview and I saw a missed opportunity. Plus, he just gave you a deal, and you’re going to attack him on his own platform. Don Lemon, not the smartest move,” she said.

Former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany then mocked Lemon by claiming he had the “greatest comedy show on television.”

Oh, Don. Don, Don, Don. You really have the audacity to say do you have any responsibility to the truth? You’re Don Lemon. You helped perpetuate the Russia conspiracy theory along with your patriots over there, compatriots, I should say, at CNN. I will say I’ve missed Don so much because outside of Gutfeld, he had the greatest comedy show on television, though it was not intended to be comedy. I watched it and I laughed all night long because it was that crazy. So come back somewhere, Don. I’ll watch.
