Fox News Scores Its Third Highest-Rated Week in Primetime Ever Thanks to Debate

 

fox newsFox News broke ratings records with 24 million watching its big GOP debate last Thursday, but they also managed to score its third highest-rated week in primetime in its history.

Thanks to the debate, Fox averaged 4.4 million viewers the entire week in primetime, making it the most-watched cable network in primetime. It was their highest-rated week since back in 2003 at the height of their Iraq War coverage.

They also managed to score the most-watched cable telecasts for the entire week. After the debate’s 24 million viewers, Megyn Kelly‘s post-debate Kelly File was watched by over 10 million people, and Bill O’Reilly‘s debate preview was watched by over 6 million.
