Fox’s Cavuto Shreds VA Secretary for Disney Remark: Either ‘Callous or Stupid’

VA Secretary Robert McDonald dismissed VA wait times by likening them to waiting on line at a Disney theme park, and that really got Fox’s Neil Cavuto steamed.

“Last time I checked,” he said, “you don’t die waiting on a line for Disney!”

He was amazed at how the man charged with overseeing veterans’ care could make such an unbelievably comparison, saying, “I don’t know if it’s just callous or stupid, maybe both.”

Washington Examiner reporter Sarah Westwood and VA whistleblower Scott David agreed, with the latter saying McDonald was just blithely dismissing the concerns of so many veterans who actually care about having to wait so long.

Cavuto dryly observed that no one waits for Disneyland rides for months at a time.
