Fox’s Goldberg: Nets Avoiding #BlackLivesMatter Chants Due to ‘Racial Manners,’ White Guilt
Fox News’ Bernie Goldberg told Bill O’Reilly tonight that major networks are ignoring anti-cop chants from #BlackLivesMatter because they want to show “good racial manners.”
Goldberg said he’s not happy with how networks have covered the killing of a Texas deputy and the remarks by the sheriff about dangerous national rhetoric while glossing over said rhetoric.
#BlackLivesMatter protesters in Minnesota chanted “pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon!” a few days ago, which plenty of people found to be a disturbing threat of violence to police.
And the reason network newscasts aren’t covering it, Goldberg said, is because they want to show “good racial manners.”
And he even went a step further, saying that while it may sound a little crazy, “this goes back to slavery.” Goldberg argued that “white liberal guilt” extends so far back that newscasts will just look over provocative statements like that from black protesters.
