Fox’s Janice Dean Accuses The View of Refusing to Book Her Because They Support Cuomo: It’s ‘Telling Where Their Loyalties Are’

Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean accused The View of refusing to have her on the show because of her outspoken opposition to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) over his nursing home scandal.
On Tuesday, Dean penned a Twitter thread saying her publicist put in several requests to The View for Dean to come on and promote her newly released book: Make Your Own Sunshine: Inspiring Stories of People Who Find Light in Dark Times. Dean said the show refused to book her, however, and she has an idea for the reason why.
My publicist asked the @TheView several times if I could come on (to promote my book) but also as someone that could talk about @NYGovCuomo and what I’ve been doing for 10 months to raise awareness and accountability for my husband’s parents’ deaths. Guess what they said?

Dean has been one of the most vocal Cuomo critics over the past year — following the death of her in-laws, who contracted the coronavirus in their assisted-living facility. The Fox News meteorologist has been unequivocal in blaming the governor’s nursing home directive for their deaths. And now, as the Cuomo administration faces accusations of manipulating and covering up the data, Dean has demanded that Cuomo be thrown in jail.
The Fox News meteorologist went on to slam The View’s Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar for their commentary on Monday which seemed to defend Cuomo by deflecting criticism to other governors.
“It’s kinda telling where their loyalties are,” Dean said, while giving Meghan McCain — whom she cites as a close friend — props for pushing back on her colleagues and scrutinizing Cuomo’s leadership as she has.
And yet @sunny can go on every day and bash other governors (calling the governor of Florida “Death-santis) instead of calling out Cuomo for ordering over 9,000 COVID patients into nursing homes, covering up their deaths and oh, sexually harassing at least 7 women.

And I would not have mentioned this, but seeing @JoyVBehar @sunny yesterday saying they’d basically rather have criminal @NYGovCuomo than a Republican governor in office makes me sick.
