Kim Davis to Sit Down with Good Morning America and Fox’s Megyn Kelly This Week

Kentucky clerk Kim Davis will sit down for her first interview this week with none other than Fox News’ Megyn Kelly.

Davis has been battling to not have to issue marriage licenses to gay couples because of her religious beliefs. Her refusal landed her in jail before a judge ordered her release, with the understanding that she stop violating the law. But she’s still fighting and may be in violation of a judge’s order.

Fox News announced today Kelly will be speaking to Davis this Wednesday, and she’s expected to press Davis on whether she actually violated that judge’s order.

UPDATE — 3:22 p.m. ET: On the broadcast network end, Good Morning America weekend anchor Paula Faris interviewed Davis on Monday afternoon. A portion of the conversation will air tonight at 6:30pm ET during World News Tonight with David Muir; and the full interview will air on GMA Tuesday morning.
