Fox’s Peter Doocy Roasts Kid Rock Over Bizarre Outfit in Oval Office Visit

Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy brutally roasted a patriotically-bedazzled Kid Rock during an eyebrow-raising Oval Office appearance with President Donald Trump on Monday.

The musician, real name Robert James Ritchie, turned up in a flag-themed outfit – red, white and blue – for Trump’s signing of an executive order that took aim at ticket scalping. The practice can lead to inflated prices for fans in the live entertainment industry.

The order directs Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Attorney General Pam Bondi to crack down on tax evasion and enforce competition law against scalpers and bots. The FTC is also ordered to coordinate with the Justice Department in tackling anti-competitive practices.

During proceedings, the president, seated behind the Resolute Desk, turned to Doocy and asked: “Did Biden do news conferences like this, Peter? I don’t think so!”

Doocy didn’t miss a beat, roasting Kid Rock’s flamboyant apparel with a quick-witted quip.

“No. He’s never stood next to someone who looks like they were about to get shot out of a cannon,” he replied.

The joke prompted Trump to break into laughter and Kid Rock to cheer, clap, and hug the Fox News reporter.

Rolling back the clip on Tuesday morning’s Fox & Friends, Doocy’s quip drew laughter from his own father, Steve Doocy, who hosts the show.

Kid Rock, who’s been vocal about the exploitative secondary ticket market, praised Trump’s move.

“I want the fans to have fair ticket prices,” he said, calling for future legislation to cap ticket purchases.
