Fox’s The Five Bashes Bill Nye for Flying in Jet on Earth Day

The hosts of Fox’s The Five today piled on both Bill Nye “The Science Guy” and President Obama for ginning up hysteria about anthropogenic climate change into something resembling a future “armageddon.” Greg Gutfeld in particular really went after Nye, bringing up this tweet from yesterday:

Heading down to DC to catch an #EarthDay flight on Air Force One tomorrow with the President. We're going to #ActOnClimate.

Lots of conservative sites snarked about Nye being a hypocrite for taking a plane on Earth Day.

Gutfeld said for people like Nye, “it’s all about status, the attention bestowed for parroting the right platitudes.” He blamed Nye and President Obama for ginning up a “straw-pocalypse, a mix of strawman and armageddon.”

Eric Bolling agreed with Gutfeld that Nye “is probably that narcissistic.”
