On Tuesday, Gayle King addressed on CBS This Morning the current discussions about whether her best friend, Oprah Winfrey, will run for president someday.

Ever since Winfrey’s electrifying speech at the Golden Globes, a lot of people have said that she could be a real threat to Donald Trump if she decided to run for president in 2020. King said that Winfrey is “intrigued” by the idea, though she insisted that her friend did not intend for her speech to be a launchpad for presidential ambitions.

Winfrey has told reporters in the past that she’s never seriously considered running for president before. King acknowledged that the media mogul “loves this country and would like to be of service in some way,” but is still not entirely convinced Winfrey will go for it.

“I absolutely don’t think her position has changed,” King said. “I do think she’s intrigued by the idea. I also know that after years of watching the Oprah Show, you always have the right to change your mind, but that’s certainly not something she’s considering right now.”
