Fox’s Greta Dons Hazmat Suit to Make a Point About Ebola

Cable news sometimes utilizes visual aids to help you understand important news, so with that in mind, Greta Van Susteren decided to simulate what it’s like for health care workers to put on hazmat suits when dealing with potential Ebola patients.

She put on the two pairs of gloves, the hazmat suit, the protective goggles, and the head gear. There was concern in the past week that what health care workers were wearing was insufficient to treat Ebola; Van Susteren tested out the more decked-out protective suits that left no skin exposed whatsoever.

And say what you will about Van Susteren’s on-set simulation, at least she didn’t get spaghetti and chocolate flung at her to take away from the seriousness of the subject.
