‘Heartbreaking’: President Obama Speaks on Chattanooga Shooting
President Obama spoke from the Oval Office this afternoon on the shooting at military facilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
He assured that the feds are working closely with local law enforcement and the Department of Defense are making sure other military facilities are “properly attentive and vigilant.”
Obama also expressed “the deepest sympathies of the American people to the four Marines that have been killed,” calling it a “heartbreaking circumstance” and giving the victims’ families “our full support as they try to overcome the grief that’s involved here.”
