Hillary Clinton Doesn’t Think She’s Part of the Establishment

Hillary Clinton said on CNN this afternoon that she doesn’t consider herself part of the establishment.

No, seriously.

On CNN late this afternoon, Blitzer asked Clinton about Bernie Sanders‘ charge that she is part of the establishment he’s fighting against. Clinton responded, “I didn’t understand that at all.”

She went after Sanders for lumping in Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign as part of the establishment, praising both of them. But Blitzer again asked, “Are you the establishment?”

Clinton again said she doesn’t know what that means, pointing out that Sanders has served in the Senate longer than she did.

She also argued, “I’m the candidate of real change.”
