Hillary Clinton Will Finally Visit Stephen Colbert’s Late Show
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is finally going to visit the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Late night host Stephen Colbert announced the program’s latest guest acquisition on Twitter late Friday morning, joking that he couldn’t “wait to find out what project she’s promoting” on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Clinton’s official Twitter account subsequently retweeted the announcement, meaning that it’s totally legit y’all. Right?
Excited to welcome @HillaryClinton to #LSSC on October 27! Can’t wait to find out what project she’s promoting.

It comes as no surprise that the Clinton campaign would finally agree to let their candidate visit Colbert’s show. After all, she did pretty well during Tuesday’s Democratic debate on CNN. Plus she sent her husband and former president Bill Clinton to run interference and/or distract Colbert last week.
And it worked, since Colbert was forced to pepper Bill with at least one vague, joking reference to his affair with Monica Lewinsky instead of asking Hillary herself about all those pesky emails.
