After Tucker Carlson Demanded Ketanji Brown Jackson’s LSAT Scores, Jeanine Pirro Says ‘There Is No One Questioning’ Her Qualifications
Jeanine Pirro appeared on Friday’s Hannity where she excoriated Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her “an embarrassment.”
In doing so, Pirro also claimed “there is no one questioning” the qualifications of Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.
On Thursday, a reporter asked Harris during press conference in Warsaw about potentially taking in Ukrainian refugees. The vice president reacted with weird, nervous laughter.
“I’m sick and tired of people saying it is about color,” Pirro said about backlash to criticisms of Harris. “Let me tell you something. When it came to Condi Rice, nobody questioned her competence. When it comes to the woman right now, the candidate or nominee for Supreme Court, Ketanji Brown Jackson, there is no one questioning her qualifications.”
But Jackson’s qualifications have come under scrutiny in a couple ways. For one thing, Pirro’s Fox News colleague Tucker Carlson – the most watched host on cable news – infamously demanded to see Jackson’s LSAT scores earlier this month.
“Appointing her is one of his gravest constitutional duties,” Carlson said. “So it might be time for Joe Biden to let us know what Ketanji Brown Jackson’s LSAT score was. How did she do on the LSATs? Why wouldn’t you tell us that?”
In a less direct line of attack, some conservatives have taken issue with the fact that Biden had pledge to nominate a Black woman if given the chance. Now that he has done that, they have used his promise to cast doubt on her as a nominee.
“I have concerns about how President Biden is handling this nomination process,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) stated, alluding to Biden’s promise.
