Jeb Bush: Trump Is a ‘Loser,’ ‘He’s Just a Real Estate Guy’

Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush went after Donald Trump Monday morning, pulling no punches in an interview with MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

Bloomberg Politics host Mark Halperin pointed out that Bush is one of the few Republicans who actively attacks Trump. “Where do you stand in your project to tell Republicans what is you think of Donald Trump? Where does that stand?”

“This is a unique experience,” Bush said. “Donald Trump recently became a Republican so no one has had this experience dealing with the guy.”

Bush used the opportunity to slam his Republican rivals for not confronting Donald Trump. “It’s just ridiculous. I mean the guy, he’s just a real estate guy. He’s gone bankrupt four times, he’s a successful man but not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, so why not confront him, challenge him?”

From there, Bush played a word association game with host Mika Brzezinski. “Trump?” she asked.

“Loser,” Bush responded, without hesitating. Bush then went on to give his thoughts on Chris Christie (“great guy”) Rubio (“work in progress”) Hillary Clinton (“she can be beat”) and Bernie Sanders (“I love the ad”).
