‘Jesse, Stop Talking’: Watters Asks Co-Hosts Whether It Was His Responsibility to Replace Nanny’s Lunch After His Dog Ate It

Fox News host Jesse Watters asked his colleagues on Thursday whether it was his responsibility to replace his nanny’s lunch after his dog stole and ate it.

On Fox News’ The Five, Watters said, “Hear me out. My dog, Rookie, ate my nanny’s hamburger yesterday. It was her lunch. Now is it my responsibility to get her a new hamburger?”

After several of his colleagues replied, “Yes,” Watters questioned, “Even though she left it within reach of the dog?”

“Yes,” they affirmed.

“Jesse, stop talking. You’re only gonna get–” remarked Jeanine Pirro, before Watters interrupted, “That’s what I did! I got her another hamburger!”

He then turned his head and said quietly, “I did not get her another hamburger.”

In November, Watters claimed on The Five that he had gotten “rid of” his dog because it “didn’t work out.”

After co-host Greg Gutfeld protested, “Don’t say you got rid of it,” Watters replied, “Got rid is a euphemism.”

Weeks later, Watters revealed on his show Jesse Watters Primetime that he had been attacked by a dog during a hike over Thanksgiving and that it had bitten his groin.

“The dog comes by, and I’m trying to back up, just give her a little room. Dog bites me. Twice. Nips my groin and takes a chunk out of my hand,” he recalled, before showing the camera a clear bite mark on his hand.
