Jimmy Fallon and Bruce Springsteen Take on Christie’s ‘Bridgegate’ Scandal with Epic ‘Born to Run’ Parody

The first time Bruce Springsteen donned his vintage beard and sunglasses on Late Night it was for a duet with Jimmy Fallon’s Neil Young on Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair.” Tonight he came back one more time before Fallon heads to the Tonight Show, this time to perform a new version of his own “Born to Run” dedicated to Governor Chris Christie’s “Fort Lee, New Jersey traffic jam.”
Christie himself is a massive Springsteen fan, even riffing with Fallon on “Born to Run” during their “Slow Jam the News” session last summer. Not sure what he’ll think of this version though…
