Jimmy Fallon’s “Russell Brand” Reads Articles About Himself In US Weekly

Earlier in the week, the sad news broke that celebrity couple Russell Brand and Katy Perry were no more. The split was the result of much speculation, as were the intentions and feelings of the couple. But every cloud has a silver lining, and this one being Jimmy Fallon‘s spot-on impression of the comedian, in which Brand reads articles about himself in gossip magazines and corrects their misconceptions.

The premise of the “show” is that “actor, comedian, and noted lothario” Brand corrects the headlines of US Weekly. For one, he takes objection to being called “crazy” over Perry, who routinely wears chunks of cheese as hats. Then there’s the claim that he was a “bad boy,” when in reality he dresses like a “Game of Thrones character who shops at J. Crew.”

He also takes time to read the non-Russell Brand parts of the magazine though, mocking Justin Timberlake for getting engaged and the entire concept of Mischa Barton trying to read.
