Jimmy Kimmel Grills Barbara Walters on Her ‘Least Favorite’ View Co-Host

It’s been 17 years since Barbara Walters first created The View, and since then many controversial co-hosts have come and gone. When Walters made her first appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, Jimmy Kimmel was determined to find out which one was her “least favorite.”
Kimmel teased the question when he appeared on The View earlier in the day, with Walters all but promising she would tell him after she’d had some time to think about it:
When he brought it up again during their late night interview, Walters was a little less forthcoming. Kimmel narrowed the choice down to some of the most outspoken hosts from the show’s history before asking his question straight-up. “I don’t like any of them,” Walters joked.
Kimmel didn’t let up, ultimately narrowing the choice down further to Rosie O’Donnell and Star Jones. Imagining them both on the show together, she said, “I think that could be a most interesting show. Yes, they’re both sort of laid back and quiet and easygoing. It wouldn’t be a hard show to do.”
When Walters said she was actually “fond of both of them,” Kimmel replied, “I’m sure when your foot kicked them both out the door…”
“I am not going there,” Walters told Kimmel, in an attempt to shut down the conversation. “But if you keep this up, I might go somewhere else.”
