John Kerry: Assad Used Sarin Gas in Syrian Chemical Attacks
Appearing on all the major political shows this Sunday, Secretary of State John Kerry said that the United States now believes Syrian president Bashar al-Assad used sarin gas in his chemical attack on about 1,500 Syrian civilians.
On Thursday, Kerry said that Syria used “a nerve agent” in its attacks, but did not specify the kind.
Kerry said that tests of hair and blood samples from the attack revealed presence of sarin, and added that “the case gets stronger by the day” for military intervention in Syria:

The revelation comes less than twenty-four hours after President Barack Obama said that he was asking Congress for authorization for a military strike against the Syrian army.
