Jon Stewart Goes After Glenn Beck Over False Israeli Commando Footage Claim

Jon Stewart does not seem to be a fan of Glenn Beck — though he’s definitely a fan of going after him and his over-the-top television theatrics. Last night he neatly accomplished two things: Addressing the Israeli Commando/Turkish Flotilla imbroglio in a neutral way (and wow has that seemed difficult over the past week), and calling Glenn Beck out on his claim that Fox News was the only media outlet showing the IDF video of the protestors on the 6th boat in in physical conflict with the Israeli commandos lowered onto their boat. Stewart employed the tried-and-true Daily Show tactic of showing actual footage and roundly disproved that claim, with shots from MSNBC, CNN, CBS, NBC, PBS and even…the Daily Show. Watch below:
