Jon Stewart Will Get a Super-Sized Daily Show Finale
Tonight kicks off Jon Stewart‘s final week of shows as he says goodbye to The Daily Show after 16 long years. Stewart’s final run of guests include Amy Schumer tonight, followed by Denis Leary tomorrow and Louis C.K. on Wednesday, but details about Stewart’s big (and presumably star-studded) finale are being kept under wraps.
But there’s one thing we know for certain: it’s gonna be a big one.
TheWrap first reported tonight that Stewart’s finale will be a giant, longer-than-usual one.
And if you look at the Comedy Central website and go to this Thursday night’s programming schedule, you’ll see that this very much appears to be the plan:

As for the content of the finale itself, it’s a safe bet to expect surprise appearances by famous guests and former correspondents (some of whom ended up hosting their own late night shows thanks to their standout Daily Show work).
Stewart’s final Daily Show airs right after the first GOP debate, so assuming the entire media universe doesn’t collapse upon the convergence of these two things, check back here Thursday for full coverage.
