Krauthammer Bashes Obama on Ukraine: WH Doesn’t ‘Have a Strategic Idea in Their Head’
David Brooks‘ “manhood” comment about President Obama‘s foreign policy inspired much debate today. On Fox News, George Will said perception matters when a bad actor like Vladimir Putin is very candid about destabilization of the region.
Ron Fournier pointed out that most Americans want a “quasi-isolationist, dovish, cautious president,” but Obama’s problem is that he didn’t recognize the people also want a president who is respected around the world. Krauthammer brushed past the manhood and got to what he believes is the real problem with the Obama administration.
“This is not a manhood issue with Obama. This is an issue of complete absence of strategic thinking. It’s not a question of the heart, it’s a question of the head. This administration, this president do not have a strategic idea in their head.”
Krauthammer brought up a line Obama said in a big foreign policy address years ago about how no nation should dominate any other nation, calling it “without a doubt, the single stupidest remark about foreign policy ever uttered by a President of the United States.”
