Krauthammer Warns of Impending GOP ‘Civil War’ Tomorrow

Fox News’ Charles Krauthammer said today that no matter what the results are tonight, there will be some kind of Republican civil war kicking off tomorrow.

If Trump wins, he told Bill Hemmer, “he will irreversibly reshape the party” from a party of Reagan into a more populist and less conservative party.

But if Trump loses, Krauthammer has little doubt Trump will stay on to continue the movement he’s built up over the course of the past year-plus.

He concluded that “the civil war will begin on Wednesday.”

Krauthammer also warned that Trump could, in that case, still be in a position to “try to engineer deposing Paul Ryan” if he keeps going.
