Kristol on ISIS: ‘Huge Amount of Bombing That Could Be Done Tomorrow’

Weekly Standard editor and up-failer Bill Kristol advised President Barack Obama on This Week to bypass Congress if he has to in order to immediately attack ISIS, the Sunni militants currently marauding across northern Iraq.

“I would like a little overreaction by the President now,” Kristol said. “He’s coming back from his vacation. He should go to Congress right away to get authorization. But meanwhile he’s acting under the War Powers Act, and he shouldn’t wait. He shouldn’t wait! There’s a huge amount of bombing and damage that could be done to ISIS tomorrow if the president orders it.”
