Laura Ingraham Asks RFK JR: ‘Who Can Bench Press More, Pete Hegseth or You?’

Laura Ingraham concluded Thursday night’s informative interview with newly confirmed HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy, Jr. by asking her guest a pressing question about cabinet members’ strength — literally.

RFK Jr. is not just the newest member of President Donald Trump’s cabinet; he is also a remarkably buff 70-year-old who is unafraid to post images of himself shirtless and release videos of himself pumping iron, a manner that often gets mocked on Fox News when, say, an anchor at another network does the same.

As the interview ended, Ingraham asked her guest, “Who could bench press more — Hegseth or you?”

No, this was not a ringside interview one might see between bouts on WWE. This was a Fox News opinion show designed to surprise, delight, and outrage viewers who tuned in.

RFK, Jr. seemed somewhat caught off guard by the playfully awkward (or awkwardly playful?) question.

I would say it can probably. I mean, I, I…” he stammered in reply while broll of his lifting iron aired for Ingraham Angle viewers. “I’ve had shoulder surgeries on both shoulders. So I’m, you know, I would maybe want to find out.”

Was that a challenge to Hegseth? Perhaps viewers witnessed the latest form of the TV’s Trump Presidency Show: a Battle of the Network Stars-type program featuring only members of Trump’s cabinet. I smell a Fox Nation streaming deal just around the corner.
