Laura Ingraham Slams Democrats for Trying To ‘Resurrect Epstein’ Case – Two Weeks After She Called for More Epstein Info

Exactly two weeks ago, Fox News host Laura Ingraham spoke to a crowd of conservatives in Florida, where she expressed dissatisfaction at the Trump administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

“How many of you are satisfied – you can clap – satisfied with the results of the Epstein investigation?” she asked the crowd just days after the Department of Justice concluded the dead sex trafficker did not have a client list and would not be releasing the long-promised files. No one in the audience clapped. “How many of you are not satisfied with the results of the investigation?” The audience applauded loudly.

President Donald Trump, however, has largely sidestepped questions about Epstein and even lashed out at his own supporters for demanding more information. Republican and conservative media have largely followed suit, resulting, for example, in a precipitous drop in Epstein mentions on Fox News. The network has instead opted to run with an unfounded theory floated by Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, who claimed the Obama administration manipulated intelligence to undermine Trump over the last decade by trying to tie him to the Russian government.

On Friday, Ingraham claimed it is Democrats who are trying to “resurrect” the Epstein case to hurt Trump. She even suggested that the Epstein narrative was their response to wild allegations from the Trump administration about former President Barack Obama. But in fact, Gabbard advanced her theory after the Department of Justice declined to release the Epstein files.

Upon welcoming her guests, Laura expressed disgust at Democrats.

“It really is quite something for the Democrats to now try to resurrect Epstein when we find out that the core of their identity for 10 years has been that Trump is illegitimate as a politician and a president because of the Russia story,” she said. “The core of their identity, it’s all exposed.”

Last week on her show, Ingraham teased a Wall Street Journal report about Trump’s relationship with Epstein.

“[W]e have new news coming on about this as well from The Wall Street Journal, a new report tonight next,” she told viewers last Thursday.

Despite the teaser, Ingraham did not mention the article again on that program.
