Lewandowski Trashes ‘Weak’ Priebus: ‘He’s a Failed Leader’

Current CNNer and former Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski went on a tear against RNC Chair Reince Priebus and “weak, feckless” Republican leadership.

Priebus publicly condemned Trump’s shocking remarks in the recently-released audio tape and dropped out of his Sunday show appearances today. He also reportedly said RNC staffers should “do what’s best” where Trump is concerned.

Lewandowski said that it’s clear most Republicans don’t want Trump to be thrown overboard by his own party, and yet, he said, “weak” Republicans are trying to “put their own political interests first.”

He credited interim DNC Chair Donna Brazile for being able to keep her party together while Priebus can’t.

“Not only is he weak,” Lewandowski said, “he’s a failed leader.”
