Megyn Kelly Pushes Back at Hillary: Being a Woman Doesn’t Make You an Outsider

Megyn Kelly called out Hillary Clinton for saying at the debate tonight that she would be a presidential outsider on the virtue of her gender alone.

It was a line that the Clinton campaign loved enough to tweet out after she said it:

On Fox News’ post-debate analysis, Howard Kurtz found it a little surprising that Clinton invoked that, and Kelly agreed:

“I am not an outsider just because I am a woman. I am not an outsider to the anchor ranks. And she’s not an outsider to politics just because she’s running for the presidency and happens to be a woman.”

Chris Stirewalt added that Clinton only did well during the debate because “she was debating people who should not be running for president.”
