Michael Steele Trashes Trump Comments on Roy Moore: ‘This Is Beyond Stupid!’

Former RNC Chairman Michael Steele went on a tear over President Trump‘s comments today on Roy Moore that all but outright endorsed him.

Trump told reporters today that “we don’t need a liberal” in that Senate seat and that Moore totally denies it.

As far as Steele’s concerned, Trump and the people who are pushing for Moore to win “don’t give a damn” about the women. He called Trump’s remarks “sickening.”

“Every self-respecting Republican,” he said, “needs to stand up and say, ‘Enough.’ You cannot side with Roy Moore on this.”

Steele mockingly brought up Trump’s “he said he didn’t do it” defense and declared, “This is beyond stupid.”
