Mika Brzezinski Slams Kellyanne Conway: ‘It’s Unbelievable That She Works in the White House’

Buried in a lot of Friday fluff on Morning Joe, today, co-host Mika Brzezinski offered a brief, but brutal, assessment of pollster turned Presidential counselor, Kellyanne Conway.

“It’s unbelievable that she works in the White House,” she said, “It’s unbelievable.”

In the moments before that assessment, The Morning Joe team played back-to-back clips of Conway’s claim that the federal government was spying on citizens with microwaves, and CIA director Mike Pompeo, disparaging that notion during his press conference yesterday.

“[CIA] officers like me have sworn an oath to uphold the constitution,” said Pompeo. “They’ve signed secrecy agreements, they quietly go about their work and try not to get too worked up over the headlines including the fanciful notion that they spy on their fellow citizens via microwave ovens.”

… Ouch

Brzezinski called Conway’s claim “ridiculously stupid.”

“Kooky,” said Brzezinski closing the book on Conway. “Really kooky, and that’s being kind.”
