Mitt Romney Wins Nevada Republican Caucus
With Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Florida in the rear view mirror, the candidates took to Nevada to keep racking up points on the delegate count. There is no doubt now, with all networks confirming, that Mitt Romney will come out of this campaign the victor, with 41% of the vote, with 11% of precincts in according to NBC News.

Romney beats the three remaining candidates– at press time, Newt Gingrich was about 160 votes ahead of Ron Paul (the battle for the silver being the most difficult to call here) and Rick Santorum without much of a chance of making it beyond last.
The results seem to confirm that consensus is beginning to form around Romney as the nominee, though Rep. Paul and Santorum are not very likely to drop out anytime soon. Nor would many have said Gingrich is before his announcement that in lieu of a rally he would be holding a press conference tonight.
