Morning Joe Wonders if Ophthalmologist Rand Paul Can See That Shirt He’s Wearing

The clotheshorse in Joe Scarborough’s crew came out Tuesday morning, as they focused on the second most notable aspect of the video of Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) jetting when his lunch-buddy Representative Steve King (R-IA) was confronted by an immigration activist: that shirt.

“Did you see that shirt he was wearing?” Scarborough asked. “Stylish. He’s wearing that shirt, it looks a lot like a rainbow. I wonder if maybe Steve King was upset by the shirt.”

“He’s an optometrist, isn’t he?” Mike Barnacle asked. (Paul’s an ophthalmologist.) “So he clearly can see it.”

Paul has proven to be a staunch defender of his fashion choices in the past, so this may not be over.
