NBC/MSNBC Reporter Jay Gray May Be Taken Off Sandusky Case

NBC reporter Jay Gray may be find himself off the Jerry Sandusky beat. TVNewser reports that, according to an unnamed source, Gray was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in the wee hours of December 12th… just after leaving a December 11th Sunday Night Football party at the home of none other than Joe Amendola, Sandusky‘s lawyer.

Gray has been covering the allegations against the former college football coach for NBC affiliates, MSNBC, and the Today show, most recently reporting on the trial for Dylan Ratigan‘s show on December 13th.

According to the New York Post, another “insider” says Gray “was on a family vacation,” and that the network has yet to make a decision regarding his coverage of Sandusky.
