NBC’s Dan Abrams And CBS’s Scott Pelley To Host Two New Discovery ID Series

Investigation Discovery is adding to its stable of big name TV news personalities, with the announcement of two new shows beginning next month.

Dan Abrams of NBC (and, of course, Mediaite) will host Chasing Justice with Dan Abrams and Scott Pelley of CBS will host 60 Minutes On ID.

The shows premiere July 12, with Pelley’s at 8pmET and Abrams’ at 8:30pmET. The ID version of 60 Minutes pulls from the CBS newsmagazine while Abrams’ uses stories from Dateline. These shows join programs like 48 Hours and Dateline already airing on the network.

Meanwhile, former CNN anchor Paula Zahn saw strong ratings in her first year as host of On The Case, and the program has been renewed for a second season.
