‘No More Guns’ Chant Breaks Out at Florida School Shooting Vigil

A day after the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, hundreds of mourners gathered to hold a candlelight vigil for the 17 people who were killed.

The vigil in Parkland had a number of speakers, including the Broward County sheriff who stated that “we will introduce common sense gun laws that make our streets safer.” It also featured many of the attendees getting a chant going.

That chant? “No more guns.”

Based on the footage above, via Twitter/@Adam4NY, it would appear that quite a few people at the vigil joined in the chant.

A number of witnesses and survivors of the shooting have spoken out against the current gun laws in the wake of the tragedy, with one student specifically saying Florida Governor Rick Scott has blood on his hands.
