Palin on Whether She’d Be Trump’s VP: I Don’t Want to Be a ‘Burden’
CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Sarah Palin this morning if she would consider being Donald Trump‘s VP nominee. She didn’t express much enthusiasm about the idea.
She said she’s “pretty much as vetted as anybody in the country could be vetted already” and there’s “so many other great people out there.”
When Tapper asked her point-blank if she’d answer the call, Palin said, “I am just a realist that I realize there are a whole lot of people out there who say ‘Anybody but Palin.’ I wouldn’t want to be a burden on the ticket.”
“I just want the guy to win,” she declared. “I want America to win.”
