Paul Ryan on Trump’s Public Attacks on Republicans: ‘It’s What He Does’

NBC’s Kasie Hunt is getting her own MSNBC weekend show, and ahead of the premiere on Sunday, the network ran part of her interview with Speaker Paul Ryan on Morning Joe Friday.

And Hunt asked Ryan about President Trump‘s public attacks on fellow Republicans.

Ryan said he’s focused on policy, but Hunt brought up specific Republicans Trump has targeted like Bob Corker and Ben Sasse.

“It’s what he does,” Ryan responded, “We’ve kind of learned to live with it.”

He added that Republicans shouldn’t get “distracted” from policy matters.
