Pelosi on Comey: ‘Maybe He’s Not in the Right Job’

The Democrats’ all-out war on the head of the FBI continues as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi used some pretty harsh language about him on CNN today.

She told Jamie Gangel that she believes James Comey not only seriously erred with his recent letter, but that “he clearly has a double standard” due to the non-disclosure of intelligence about Russian hacks interfering with the election.

“These jobs, if you’re not in it for a while,” Pelosi said, “you can’t take the heat. And I think he just couldn’t take the heat from the Republicans. It’s really unfortunate because I really do believe he’s a good person. Maybe he’s not in the right job.”

As for whether Comey should resign, Pelosi hesitated, saying they’ll get through the election and then “see what the casualties are along the way.”
