Pete Hegseth to Sitting Congresswoman AOC: ‘Quiet, Quiet…Learn Something Before You Come Back to Me’
Fox & Friends co-host Pete Hegseth showed off what some may see as questionable parenting skills as he dismissed the climate change agenda expressed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez in a remarkably dismissive manner even for the pro-Trump and conservative opinion morning show.
At the end of a segment that focused on an estimated cost of the Green New Deal that will reportedly come with an impossibly heavy price tag of over $93 trillion over the next decade, Fox & Friends producers aired a segment of Rush Limbaugh mocking the idea and Ocasio-Cortez herself.
Co-host Brian Kilmeade parroted Limbaugh’s claim that no one is willing to say to AOC that “she doesn’t know what she is talking about,” by adding that “Mike Bloomberg and Howard Schultz did.”
It was then that Hegseth added, “listen it’s like your kids spewing nonsense at you… and you’re like quiet, quiet, learn something before you come back to me.”
The “spare the rod” set of Fox News viewers, of which there are likely very many, are certain to hear Hegseth’s tough words and eagerly nod in agreement. Others may see his comments as remarkably dismissive of the youngest member of Congress and an example of the oppressive patriarchy that we find ourselves in.
We report, you decide.
