Rahm Emanuel Hits Back at ‘Blinded’ Hunter Biden After Being Attacked in Expletive-Laden Rant
Former Obama and Biden White House official Rahm Emanuel hit back at Hunter Biden on Monday after Biden dropped several F-bombs against him in an expletive-laden interview.
During an interview with comedian and journalist Andrew Callaghan on Monday, Biden attacked his father’s former ambassador to Japan:
White men in America are 45 more times likely to commit a fucking violent crime than an immigrant and the media says, “Well you got David Axelrod and, you know, Rahm fucking Emanuel.” So fucking smart Rahm Emanuel. He said, “We gotta understand that these people are really mad and we gotta appeal to these white voters.” Rahm, the only people that fucking appeal to those fucking white voters was Joe Biden. 81 years old and he got 81 million votes and he did not because he appeased their fucking Trumpian sense but because he challenged it, and he said, “You can be an 81-year-old Catholic from fucking Scranton that doesn’t understand it, but still has empathy for transgender people and immigrants.”
Biden also lashed out at the possibility of Emanuel running for president, declaring, “I hear Rahm Emanuel is gonna run for president. What a fucking– like, David Axelrod’s gonna run his campaign for him. Like, oh boy, there’s the answer. There’s the fucking answer. Geniuses all.”
Asked by Megyn Kelly for his response to Biden’s comments on The Megyn Kelly Show, Emanuel mocked, “I’m kind of feeling for Axelrod right now. He got thrown down in the gutter with me.”
He then added, “I think we’re giving this more time than it’s due. That’s my own view. A little empathetic, you have a son who’s blinded by his own love for, in effect, and loyalty for his father, and I get that, but not the first phone call I’m gonna make for a strategery.”
On Biden’s repeated use of the F-word, Emanuel said, “As you probably know, there’s a lot of stories about Dems have to now start swearing to look like they’re normal or something like that. I was thirty years ahead of my time. I’m like a good bottle of wine. I mean, I don’t– I just– We spent two minutes, way too much time on that.”
Emanuel – who served as former President Barack Obama’s chief of staff – also criticized Biden’s suggestion that only his father could have won the 2024 presidential election.
Pointing to former Vice President Kamala Harris’ rise in the polls when she tried to break from former President Joe Biden, Emanuel concluded, “It tells you, no disrespect to Hunter Biden’s analysis, that this was winnable.”
