Sanders Camp Manager Says DNC Head ‘Throwing Shade,’ She Responds ‘Hashtag SMH’

weaver DWSOn CNN this morning, Bernie Sanders‘ campaign manager accused the head of the DNC of “throwing shade at the Sanders campaign since the very beginning,” another notation on the part of their camp at how the DNC has been in Hillary Clinton‘s pocket the entire primary election season.

He said that while many people at the DNC have been very good to them, “Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been the exception.”

Wolf Blitzer played that clip for Wasserman Schultz hours later on CNN, and she answered, “My response to that is Hashtag SMH.”

(For those of you not versed in hashtag lingo, she means “shaking my head.”)

She said she’s focused on the general election right now and said the bigger issue here is drawing contrasts between the Democrats and Republicans.

Wasserman Schultz said she would let “any of this other malarkey” distract her from that goal.
