Sanders Hits Hillary for ‘Hastily Adopted’ Talk: ‘I Saw Her TV Ad and Thought It Was Me!’

bernieBernie Sanders continued jabbing Hillary Clinton today for what he described as very strongly echoing his rhetoric more recently.

Yesterday he said it in an interview, and today he joked a bit about it during a rally in Boston.

He said dryly, “I have to say that I am delighted that Secretary Clinton, month after month after month, seems to be adopting more and more of the positions that we have advocated. That’s good.”

Sanders even said that “I saw her TV ad, I thought it was me” before reminding the crowd that the American people “need to know the difference between hastily adopted campaign rhetoric and the real record and the long-held ideas of the candidates.”
