Sean Spicer: Where’s the Outrage About Democrats ‘Undermining the Electoral Process’?
RNC communications director (and potential Trump administration press secretary) Sean Spicer asked tonight why there was a lot of attention paid to Donald Trump‘s comments about accepting the election outcome, while there hasn’t been as much outrage about Democratic attempts to “undermine the election process.”
He told Fox’s Martha MacCallum said the wave of disappointment about Trump shows many Democrats didn’t appreciate what he was able to tap into.
Spicer also took note of how everyone talked about “the integrity of the voting system” before the election, but since then, there have been recounts and pushes for electoral college members to change their votes.
He specifically referred to “intimidation” and harassment of electors and said he’s “appalled that there’s so little outrage at what’s going on.”
“I really do feel bad for them,” Spicer said, “I’m not sure what step they’re on in their 12-step program for getting over the loss in this election, but I do wish them well.”
