Stewart Tears Into ‘Motherf*ckers’ in Congress for Avoiding ISIS Debate

Jon Stewart really went after the “motherf*ckers” in Congress” Monday night for not rushing back to D.C. immediately to debate the ISIS threat they’re so worried about.

Stewart praised the British government for having an honest and open debate, as opposed to the U.S. Congress, which is on break right now because the threat of losing midterm elections is apparently more important than a terrorist threat to the country.

Stewart called the Republican posturing “pure political calculation” because they get to criticize President Obama no matter what he does, and concluded they’re just refusing to debate “for fear that we will hear them.”
