The three scandals that plagued the Obama White House this month–Benghazi, the IRS and the DOJ–provided plenty of opportunity for contentious showdowns on cable news. But other stories also broke through, from NBA player Jason Collins becoming the first openly gay male professional athlete in the U.S. to a somehow controversial study showing women are now the primary breadwinner in 4 our of 10 households.
