There Is Going to Be a Today Show Musical. No, Seriously.
The Today Show is getting its own musical. No, this isn’t April 1st, and no, you are not dreaming. Kathie Lee Gifford announced on the show today she’s written an 18-minute musical that will be performed at some point soon by basically every single person involved with The Today Show.
Peter Pan musical not enough, eh, NBC?
Apparently, according to Gifford, she was approached by the show’s producers to write a Today Show musical a while back, and she did it. The show is called Not Today, and Tomorrow’s Not Looking Good Either.
Also, Regis Philbin is going to appear in it, so at least we’ll have that.
Now the only question is if it’s going to try to be good or will intentionally suck like Sharknado 2 (which at least some of the Today Show stars have experience with).
