Todd Goes after Sen. Graham for Claiming Obama’s ‘Getting People Killed’

Meet the Press host Chuck Todd challenged Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to defend a statement in which he said President Barack Obama’s foreign policy was “getting people killed.”

“Is that proper rhetoric?” Todd asked. “You think the President of the United States is getting people killed?”

“I think his policies are getting people killed,” Graham replied. “Almost 300,000 people have been killed in Syria on his watch…Hell on earth is about to descend in Syria, and it matters to us.”

“The safe heavens in Syria and Joran by ISIS and other terrorist groups are a direct threat to the United States,” Graham concluded. “So yes, his campaign promises should be adjusted based on reality.”
