Tom Delay Cha-Chas It Up On “Dancing With The Stars”

Jake Tapper wasn’t joking when he broke the news that former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was going to compete in Season 9 of Dancing With The Stars. Well, last night, The Hammer made his reality TV debut. Here’s the video:

Instructor: Left, left, left, left.

Delay: Going left for me is absolutely outrageous. I’ve been a conservative all my life. I know that if I want to do well in the cha-cha, I’m going to have to vote with the Republicans and party with the Democrats.

As we noted before, DeLay’s website, “Dancing with Delay,” looks suspiciously like a campaign website. Will this be a career boost, or just a lighthearted diversion? Or both?
