Tracy Morgan Makes Rare Post-Accident Public Appearance at Yankee Stadium (UPDATED)

Two months after his emotional televised interview with Matt Lauer on The TODAY Show, comedian Tracy Morgan made a rare public appearance at Tuesday night’s Yankees game in Yankee Stadium.

Morgan, his daughter Maven, and fiancée Megan Wollover were spotted sitting the front row by a cameraman and the announcers during the bottom of the second inning. After the footage was broadcast on the scoreboard, the crowds gave the actor a large round of applause, to which he gave a thankful wave back.

It’s nice to see that Morgan is feeling well enough to be seen out in public more often. Plus, his appearance in the Bronx was probably a welcome distraction for Red Sox fans, since the Yankees whooped ’em 13 to 3 in eight and a half innings of play.
